A STORY OF AN UNKOWN GIRL.

OCTOBER 5 – 1954

Scott enters the graveyard, he was in his 70s, his posture was firm and he was masculine. he had two deep scars on his face, which were signs of his tough life as a soldier. He was neatly dressed; his shoes were well polished. his eyes were filled with deep despair. Stepping towards the grave, holding a bottle of wine, he went into thoughts. He was the man who had participated in the world’s two greatest wars which took place in human history!

JULY 28- 1914

No historian can forget this day. It was the day World War 1 began, which eventually took millions of lives.  Wars happen because we as human beings fail to withstand our so-called title of intelligent creatures of the earth.

Robert Scott was a young and brave soldier who was fighting not because he was eager to kill the opponent but wanted to shield his people from any danger. He was a kind man but once he was on a battlefield nothing mattered to him, he was mercy less.

OCTOBER 5- 1914

Scott and his mates came to a small town after winning the battle, everyone got busy looting things around while the city was burning. sitting at a corner on fallen debris of some building, Scott was thinking about what good a winning of onside brings to humankind, in the end, someone has to die, and some families have to suffer. he sat for a few minutes to sink that in. then he noticed a building with flare and he heard a very feeble sound out of it. He jumped out of his position and rushed towards the building. It was all over for the ground floor, he stared at the emptiness of fire and he could still hear the feeble cry, it sounded like a small girl. He ran towards the stairs and grabbed the rails and started to climb, it was all smoke and he wasn’t able to figure out the direction of the sound, and suddenly he heard the sound of a big chunk of wood falling down. He saw a little girl laying on the floor, but it was too late he moved the chunk of wood aside with his mighty strength and grabbed her and came out of the building, the girl wasn’t breathing, he tried everything he learned in his training camp. There was no response from the little soul, the freckled face lost its breath and tears came down his cheeks. As a soldier, he has seen many deaths in his life but it was all different, he held her close to his chest and cried for the first time in the entire war.

The little girl was holding a piece of paper in her hand, he grabbed it, he doesn’t want to hurt her even in her deep death sleep, it was a photo of two young couples with a child in their hand, he figured out that they were her parents who have lost their lives in the tragedy. inscription in a photo printed a day AUGUST 9 1906.

He carried her to his town and buried her and he named her an unknown girl.

BACK TO THE PRESENT DAY

To this day he can never forget that soul, which wanted to get saved by him, He sipped his wine and sat for the whole evening with the flowers he bought. Sometimes you don’t need years together to build connections some connections get strong in a deep abyss and you will never get out of it for the rest of your life.

Saturn And My Childhood

I wondered how a celestial object might have a ring. It all sounded very mythical and quite unbelievable, to be frank. As I grew up, the curiosity built up, and I did accept the truth — yes, Saturn does have rings. Did I see them with my own eyes? No, but many pictures on the internet show the same. All the satellites sent, or the stupendously big telescopes, all say the same thing — the object that is 21 times the diameter of Earth looks so tiny, having a beautiful ring around it. The ring looks so enormous, yet its height is just 10 meters — thinner than a sheet of paper if you scale it down. Anyway, all the science may take a back seat; as a kid, it was always my dream to watch those rings in real time. As I was walking along the roadside this evening, it struck me — it’s October, and Saturn might be high above in the sky, the perfect time to spot it. So I just rushed to my room, took out my telescope, and pointed it toward it — boom! My dream came true. I witnessed the rings!!! ...

TIME

What is time? you may think it is a stupid question to ask, but anyway, ask yourself what is time? Is it what your watch notifies or a calendar or seasons? or time is just a concept in our brain that never really exists? Before scientifically answering this question, let me simplify. Time is a single-direction thing, you can never go in the past. You can’t unscramble the egg, or unread my article. It is one direction for sure but we are not in command of it, It goes at one speed and can’t go backward or forward, yea yea I’m keeping complicated science away. just to avoid complications of time travel, let us be in real and try to get this term time in simple things. As I searched for the definition of time, one thing was sure, it is the most unknown of unknown things in this world. But plays a very vital role, in how we feel that time is very important, sometimes we want to escape, and sometimes we want to re-live it. Among all the things of entropy and time traveling we can make ...

Survivors Bias, Dropping out of college isn't that great idea!

Let me tell you the story of world war 2, British were losing their bomber aircraft at an increasing rate against the German army, but they desperately wanted to find a solution to this problem, So they analyzed all the air crafts that came back. They noted and found out the areas of the aircraft where most of the bullets were hit or damage happened, and they decided to armor those parts of the aircraft, sounds intuitive, isn’t it? But to their surprise, the applied mathematics department had a different plan (I was shocked by the fact that they had applied mathematics in the military) So Abraham Wald, based on his statistical research suggested the British military, Armor those parts of the aircraft where no damage is seen or observed, but this brought huge success in coming war days. The reason behind this counterintuitive decision was that they were only looking at the aircraft which returned. means that all the aircraft hit by German in different areas failed to return, so all surv...
